In December, 2000 the Central Intelligence Agency published GLOBAL TRENDS 2015.

This one-year project was directed by the National Intelligence Council with assistance from Georgetown University, the CIA, The International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Naval War College, The Potomac Institute, MITRE, RAND, The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the U.S. Department of State.

The primary mission of GLOBAL TRENDS 2015 is to identify the drivers that will shape your world in 2015.  Its goal is to help policymakers think outside their inboxes.
